Advocate Definition: 

One who pleads the cause of another; specifically :  one who pleads the cause of another before a tribunal or judicial court.

One who publicly supports or recommends a particular cause or policy. synonyms: protector, champion, supporter, proponent, promoter, patron

Redeem Definition: 

  1. To recover ownership by buying back; to repurchase or reclaim
  2. To free from sin and its consequences
  3. To exchange for something of value
  4. To make worthwhile; retrieve
  5. To make up for; make amends for; to compensate for some fault or deficiency
  6. To make good or fulfill (a pledge, promise, etc.)
  7. To free from captivity by payment of ransom
  8. To save, rescue
  9. To clear or release from debt or blame 
  10. To repair or restore  
  11. To reform or change (for the better)
  12. To restore the honor, worth or reputation of something
  13. Antonyms: Abandon
